Before they became parents, Ken and Karen used to host casual get-togethers they called “porch life.”  We would all gather on summer evenings on their front porch, with guitars, hot dogs on the grill, and adult beverages, and we’d stay up way too late.  Now that there are little kids, our evenings start a little earlier and end a little earlier, but there are still hot dogs, adult beverages, and guitars.  Plus diapers, bottles, toy trains, and running around barefoot in the grass.  They came over Sunday evening for dinner and playtime!
