It’s been a long time since I had to write a paper!  I found myself at Kinko’s in the middle of the night, cutting-and-pasting for real, with scissors and tape, just to get my thoughts in order.

In the end I had to bring one page of writing and 50 (50!) pages of notes to show her during our draft-conference time.  But she seemed to think it was a pretty good start.  She made some suggestions, and said if I decided to enroll, I would probably do very well.

(Here’s the actual “paper.”  It’s not an essay, so there’s no thesis at all.  She told us to write a “wandering paper” so…  I did.)
