Last year’s trip to the Christmas Train at the children’s museum…  looking forward to another visit soon.  It’s getting to be that time of year…

The tiny trains run through three or four rooms!  The tracks all twist over and under each other, some down at knee level where small children can watch them easily, and some way up overhead.  At several points there are buttons where kids can control the speed and direction of the trains, and many of the tiny model village elements are actually little models of parts of Durham (although Durham hardly ever gets this kind of fairy-tale snow!)
